Although I can appreciate the peace and tranquilty of rural life, coming home to near freezing temperatures and constant drizzle was more than a little harsh. It's hard to believe that a few short days ago we were in Beijing, sitting on a patio near one of the markets enjoying a warm evening away from the hospital. This return to reality seems to be giving us more turbulance than the flight home and a feeling of melancholy has set in deep.
